Description
One of eight paintings in the Deep Time series which depict Earth as an ancient entity which has evolved over aeons of time.The centauric sorcerer here is dreaming his world as he lies hidden in a secret dimension. In the Deep Time paintings I'm depicting vast time spans, as tectonic plates shift and flow over and under each other. Morphing, rising, sinking, encoding life-forms and eras as they evolve and then become enfolded. Dimensions and matrices emerge and then are hidden. The land continually recording. Ice ages advance and recede, heat rises and sinks, seas and watercourses come and go, mountains rise and fall, deserts and jungles appear and disappear as the entire living planet flows through deep time.
